Days of AWE 2015 - Like No Other

Days of AWE 2015, Like No Other – Dear Friends - Brother Scott has shared an audio file of the message he was given to preach yesterday, A YOM KIPPUR LIKE NO OTHER. It is EXCELLENT and will help you in fullness of understanding of that which you are about to read. http://gjigt-radio.com/podcast/audio/Yom_KippurLikeNoOtherSR2.mp3 The saints scattered abroad are being tested, and tried, and refined by the fires of tribulation. Many saints scattered abroad do understand the DAYS of AWE. Many saints scattered abroad in past years have tried to properly observe this most solemn season beginning with the Feast of Trumpets, September 14, 2015, through The Day of Atonement, September 23, 2015. This year indeed it will be like NO OTHER and perhaps the most important in all history. It may be wise to seek the Lord for His leading to see if perhaps it would be good for you and me to begin the Days of Awe, EARLY this year. For me and my house, it is already settled. It is never too early to seek God's grace evidenced in PERSONAL Repentance. One can only be too late in diligently seeking His GRACE, which is only evidenced in PERSONAL Repentance and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The 10 days beginning with Feast of Trumpets and concluding with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, are the Days of Awe, and the Feast of Day of Atonement is the only biblically required fast day of the year. The Jews have a tradition that begins this season of seeking God's GRACE to be found only in repentance a month early with the fast of the FIFTH MONTH as Zechariah calls the Ninth of Av. This is the season of Tsheuva or REPENTANCE. The 10 Days of Awe begin with the Feast of Trumpets, and this feast of The Lord Jesus Christ is HIS CALL to HIS PEOPLE to repentance. This feast of the Lord, known as the Feast of Trumpets, also celebrates the Day of the Return of the King of Kings, to tread out the wine press of the wrath of God Almighty and set up His millennial reign of righteousness where Satan will be bound for 1000 years. The Feast of Trumpets is the ONLY feast of the Lord of which the day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Yes, the Feast of Trumpets is that day, of which and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Brethren, we are not to have this judgment of God Almighty rising up in wrath, overtake us as a thief, as it will overtake the world. 1 Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. These 10 Days of Awe are about the last call, the FINAL CALL, to find the grace and mercy of God in REPENTANCE. Returning to God, coming into agreement with God, to be able to receive His mercy, is what the season of TESHUVAH (Repentance), concluding with the Fast of th-e Seventh Month, The Day of Atonement, is all about. REPENTANCE is CENTRAL to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Any gospel without repentance being central to the message, is Another Gospel. Such will be cursed Gal 1:8-9. Who needs to repent? Me and you need to repent. For whom is it impossible to repent? Me and you, unless we find the grace of God. No one can repent apart from the grace of God. In Fact, repentance is the expression of one who truly finds the grace of God. Repentance is not a one-time deal. Repentance is a way of Life, to one who truly finds the Way leading to eternal life, to KNOW the One who IS The Life. Do you remember the flood of the LOVE of God, which came on you when you FIRST found the forgiveness for your sin, through the grace of God, when you first really understood what God did for you through the Cross of Christ? Then, "Remember your FIRST Love." Indeed the True God sets free from bondage and every false god is a control freak. God will have PERFECT ORDER in His kingdom, yet that perfect order will be through the freedom to choose His right and proper way, rather than the self-way of destruction. Am I as aware of God's presence as I once was? Am I more aware of God than I ever was? Do I expect God to be kind to me more than for me to be kind to God? Is God well pleased with everything in my life, or do I constantly complain because things do not seem to be going my way? A person, who has forgotten God's great expression of love toward him, will not be filled with joy. It is wonderful to remember that Jesus Christ has needs which we can meet—"Give Me a drink" (John 4:7). How much good service, or kindness, or even thoughtfulness have I shown Him in the past week? Has my life been a good reflection on His reputation? Could God be saying to His people, "You are not in love with Me now; but, I remember a time when you were." He told Jeremiah to tell that to His people. In Jeremiah 2:2, God told Jeremiah to Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. Will we hear Him? We will IF we are His people. Am I as filled to overflowing with love for Jesus Christ as I was in the beginning, when I went out of my way to prove my devotion to Him? Or do I try to impress the church folk with my knowledge of religious or spiritual stuff? Does He ever find me considering the time when I cared only for Him? Is that where I am now, or have I chosen man's wisdom over true love for Him? Am I so in love with Him that I take no thought for where He might lead me? Or am I watching to see how much respect I get as I measure how much service I should give Him? As I think what God knows and remembers about me, I may also begin to realize that He is not what He used to be to me. When this happens, I should allow the shame and humiliation it creates in my life. That shame and humiliation will bring godly sorrow, and godly sorrow is a good thing, because it produces repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Yes, we do seek that GODLY sorrow that leads to REPENTANCE. We are not seeking the worldly sorrow that just gets embarrassed because it gets caught. That worldly sorrow worketh death. When we are more concerned about what the other church folk think, than what God thinks, that worldly sorrow works death. When we can rejoice in the love of God, that He loves us enough to chasten us, that is Godly sorrow, that leads to the walk of repentance IN The Way that leads to life eternal. Alleluia Yeshua. The Word or name Yeshua actually means SALVATION in Hebrew. That, all by itself, is something to think about. The Bible very clearly teaches us that Salvation is for WHOSOEVER WILL. We have quite a battle being the born sinners and vain creatures that we are. We are required to choose to WILL to do the Will of God. Salvation is for whosoever will. Yeshua showed us the way. Always He was in FULL and PERFECT submission to the Will of the Father. Yes, He did really sweat blood in bringing His will into submission to do the Will of the Father. For it was the Father's will to send Yeshua to be the Propitiation, the payment, the sin-offering, for the sin of sinners. He, who knew no sin, who knew with fullness of understanding the HOLINESS of God, would have to be made to be the sin-offering for us sinners, in order that we MIGHT be saved. Thinking about that should help us in this season of repentance. Have we really and fully surrendered our self-will to do the will of God? Maybe someone really has. If that be so, then after surrender, then what? Jesus IS THE Way, and Jesus demonstrated and lived the way. We see in John 17:4 that He said to the Father, I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. Yes LOVE is an action word, and a DOING thing. Alleluia Yeshua. Faith works by love. The submission to God, or surrender of our self-will to DO the will of God, is not just surrender of our life, which the church folk see. The submission to God that causes the devil to want to flee from us, is more a matter of the thoughts and intents of our heart. For as a man thinketh so is he. It is the mind that is the battlefield. It is there where we must get victory for the flesh to really shape up. We seek this fullness of surrender of our self-will to DO the will of God. The greatest crisis we ever face is the surrender of our will. Yet God never forces a person's will into surrender, and He never begs. He patiently waits until that person willingly yields to Him. And once that battle has been fought, it never needs to be fought again. Sadly, in today's strong delusion, people are lulled and dulled so that most never come to that point of crisis in their life. 1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Satan has the majority so consumed and lulled into such a state of spiritual slumber that most will never awaken to the crisis at hand until it is too late. This willful and voluntary surrender or submission to God is absolutely vital to victory in spiritual warfare. We must be submitted to God to see the devil flee from before us. It is the mystery of the Ages, this positional authority which we do have when we are IN Christ, fully submitted to the will of God. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, "Come to Me … and I will give you rest." It is only after we have begun to experience what salvation really means that we surrender our will to Jesus for rest. Whatever is causing us a sense of uncertainty is actually a call to our will. Will we come to Yeshua? God insists that it be a voluntary coming. Satan, the control freak, will seek to use any means to get control of our will. We simply must learn submission to God for victory in this antichrist war on the saints. Jesus said, in Matt 16:24, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself." We see that the submission to God is a denial of self-will. The surrender here is of myself to Yeshua, with His rest at the heart of my being. It is NOT inactivity or passivity. Rather it is His empowerment that brings the rest, even though we are battling the devil more fiercely, and powerfully than ever before, there is TRUE REST in that battle. There is heart quietness and peace. Jesus clearly explains to us that if we will truly be His disciples we must choose to yield and give up our self- will and self-righteousness, and surrender our self-will to His perfect will. Once this is done, the remainder of our life will exhibit the evidence of this surrender, and you never need to be concerned again with what the future may hold. Whatever our circumstances may be, Jesus is totally sufficient. 2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Phil 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Please do NOT misunderstand this. This next statement is true; but, can be very easily misunderstood. We are not saved by believing: but, we simply realize we are saved by believing. Yes, even in this late call to repentance, we must be sure that we understand, it is not repentance that saves us. Repentance is only the sign that we realize what God has done through Christ Jesus. If we fail in this understanding the devil can overwhelm anyone with counterfeit deceiving spirits. That is the danger of putting the emphasis on the effect, rather than on the cause. Is it my obedience, my Torah observance, my dedication, my observance of commandments, and/or my good deeds, that makes me right with God? That is a serious question and if we MISS this understanding, this paradox, you very well may have religious counterfeit spirits, that one may think is the Holy Spirit, that need to be cast out. It is NEVER that we are made right with God, by our repentance, or by or obedience to His commandments. We must understand that prior to all of that, Christ died. When we turn to God, and by belief, accept what God reveals, that miraculous atonement by the Messiah on the Cross, instantly places us into a right relationship with God. The evidence we have, of this miracle of God's grace, is a hunger and thirst after righteousness, AND a hunger to KNOW what God has said, AND a full determination to do what God has said, just because God said so. One can not help but wonder, regarding the genuineness of the faith, of one who claims to have been a Christian for many years, and yet, IN FACT, has never even read, one time, the KJV Holy Bible the way one reads any other book. Sadly, the majority of so-called, and/or used-to-be Christians, in this great falling away from the faith, have NEVER read the word of God, the way that God told us to read it. That means precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, and line upon line. Yes, straight through, every word IN ORDER from Gen 1:1 to the Amen of Rev 22:21. How else would one dare to presume to think one may rightly divide the word of truth? There is not another way without that necessary context. God said that precept MUST be upon precept. Things taken out of context become pretexts for anything, and especially divisions within the Body of Christ. And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Pray Psalm 83 every day. Only be very strong and of good courage. Stay IN the Word.
